I ran into you with love as my fuel, 

I ran and I ran,

Just hoping for you to notice me. 

I came up with my best jokes, 

Wore my finest clothes, 

And displayed my worst behavior, 

But you never waited for me,

I became tired of running,

And my laughing stopped, 

The noise I made behind you ceased,

But I had already given up, 

Love fuel depleted,
